Each fall, the Clarkston Cross Country teams host an Elementary Race. Elementary students from Clarkston Schools have a chance to experience the sport of cross country. Individual runners can earn medals and ribbons. The school with the highest percentage of their students participating in the race gets to bring home the traveling trophy.

LOCATION: Behind Clarkston High School in the practice fields behind the stadium/track. Use the driveway off of Flemings Lake Rd next to the softball/baseball fields closest to Clarkston Road. |

PARKING: Use the entrance off of Flemings Lake Rd and park on the west side of the high school next to the baseball and softball fields. From the parking lot, walk down the steps and follow the sidewalk past the tennis courts. Keep walking toward the stadium then turn right. The registration is located behind the track garage. The start and finish lines are located across the drive in the practice fields. |

RACE NUMBER PICK UP: If you registered online, pick up your race number from 4:45 to 5:25 at registration. Look for the online registration pick up line. You must get your race number to participate in the race. All others will need to complete the registration process the day of the race. |
RACE COURSE MAP: Members of the Sashabaw Middle School and Clarkston Junior High Cross Country teams will run with the participants to help encourage and guide them on their way. View and/or print a copy of the 1/2 mile and mile course map. |

REGISTRATION:
Register online before race or or register at the race. If you register online, you only need to pick up your bib number the day of the race (quick and easy). It is ok to register online even if you are not 100% sure of participating. If you register at the race, make sure you give yourself time (varies depending on the line) to complete the registration process by 5:25 and walk to the starting line.

Submit your registration online by the online registration deadline. If the online registration is closed, you can still register at the race the day of.
Online registration is fast and easy and saves you time the day of the race. By registering online, you help us to estimate the number of awards needed. Please consider registering online even if you are not 100% sure you can attend. On the day of the race, show up by 5:25 to pick up your race bib number - Race Day
Show up on race day and look for the registration line. Registration closes at 5:25. Arrive early to make sure you have enough time to register and get to the start line.
Online Registration Closes at 11:55 PM the Monday before the race.
